Antenna Foundation Nepal (AFN) uses media and communications to strengthen the democracy and develop public opinion required for holistic development of the society. It especially produces innovative and distinct radio and television programs to raise public awareness, promote behavior change and media advocacy.
AFN is seeking to recruit competent, committed, and self-motivated candidates for the position of Programme Development Coordinator and Admin/Finance Coordinator to
lead Programme and Admin/Finance Departments respectively. Similarly, AFN will also recruit enthusiastic Interns to produce media contents.
PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably Masters degree with 3-5 years experience and sound knowledge of overall programme management and monitoring experience
• Proven track-record in project design development and implementation
• Previous experience of report writing and preparing successful proposals
• Experience in the use of media to achieve development goals is an advantage.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English
ADMIN/FINANCE COORDINATOR
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent, preferably Master's degree, with at least 5 years1 administration and financial management experience in managerial level. Other Professional qualification in Accountancy will be value added
• Excellent organizational skills, including administration, HR and financial and logistics
• Budget development and budgetary control including variance analysis
• Exposure to reporting requirements of donors such as DFID, EU and USAID
• An ability to write clear and concise reports; good spoken and written English
INTERNS (2)
Key Requirements:
• Must be recent graduates (Bachelor's degree)
• Passionate in media content production
• Good working knowledge of computer programmes, including social media
• Command of English and Nepali
