PSI- Research/Monitoring & Evaluation Officer


Population Services International (PSI) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of people in the developing world by focusing on serious challenges like a lack of family planning, HIV/AIDS, Darners to maternal health, and the greatest threats to children under five, including malaria, diarrhea, pneumonia and malnutrition. PSI/Nepal began operations in early 2002 to work in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, child survival and family planning in support of Government of Nepal's National Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Prevention Strategies. Its current portfolio includes malaria, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, family planning and safe water projects.

PSI/Nepal is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Research/Monitoring A Evaluation (MAE) Officer.

The Research/MAE Officer will be responsible for supporting MAE and research activities of GFATM Malaria program including but not limited to development of research dosign; study implementation and analysis; supervision/monitoring of malaria program and implementing partners; periodic review of MAE SOP and programmatic data review and verification.

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Public Health, Social Science or a related degree

Minimum 3 years experience m monitoring and evaluation of public health programs

Good knowledge and experience of applying MAE tools in program management

Knowledge of statistical software package like SPSS

Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate research findings

Effective spoken and written communication skills in both English and Nepali
