The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN WOMEN) is seekingapplications from qualified Nepali nationals for the following position:

1. Programme Specialist - Under the overall guidance of the UN Women Nepal's Representative, and direct supervision of the Deputy Representative, the Programme Specialist will be responsible for providing oversight for all aspects of National Planning and Budgeting unit programming and operations, including providing strategic guidance, supervision, resource mobilization, quality control, knowledge sharing and policy and programming; including leading and managing the current programme activities of Financing for Gender Equality (F4GE), Local Governance and Community Development Programme (LGCDP), and Strengthening National Women Commission Project (SNWCP), and provide guidance and support for the management of forthcoming programmes/projects under the preview of NPB unit.

Contract Type - Service Contract Level - SB5 Duration -1 year

2. Programme Associate - Under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist, National Planning and Budgeting Unit, the Programme Associate will be responsible for providing overall administrative and programmatic support to National Planning and Budgeting Unit in carrying out programme activities with special focus on the implementation of Strengthening National Women's Commission Project (SNWCP).

Contract Type - Service Contract Level - SB3

Duration -10 months

3. National Consultant [NPB] - Under the overall guidance of the UN Women Nepal's Deputy Representative, and the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist of the National Planning and Budgeting Unit, the Consultant will be responsible for the implementation of Strengthening National Women's Commission Project (SNWCP).

Contract Type - SSA Duration - 8 Months
