Applications are invited from individuals who are interested to work as a Laundry Person at an official residence of a high ranking diplomat of the U.S. Mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent performs a wide range of laundry duties at an official residence of a high ranking diplomat. The duties include laundering of all personal cloth items, household linen and draperies, and also maintaining the laundry room and equipment in clean and excellent running order. The incumbent performs any other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required:
1. Completion of Secondary School is required.
2. A minimum of one year of experience in similar role required.
3. A good working knowledge of speaking/reading/writing English is required. Fluency in Nepali is required.
4. The physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous walking, standing, moving objects, and stooping is required. The ability to follow directions and work successfully with other team members is required.
5. Good working knowledge of all kinds of domestic appliances, equipment and cleaning solutions used in laundry is required.
