Practical Action seeks to recruit staff for its Regional Office South Asia, Nepal for the following positions:
1. Project Manager (one in Chitwan)
Reporting to the Head of Programme - Urban Water, Sanitation and Waste, the Project Manager will be responsible to manage, implement and deliver the agreed project outputs and achieve the overall objectives of the 'Delivering Decentalisation - Slum Dwellers' Access to Decision Making for Pro Poor Infrastructure Services Project'.
The candidate should possess a Masters Degree majoring in urban environmental management, urban development and planning, water and sanitation, urban governance, urban infrastructure planning or relevant degree with three years of work experience in related field.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (one each in Kathmandu and Nepalgunj)
Reporting to the Head of Unit - Policy and Practices, the Officer will take lead in ensuring effective and quality service delivery of projects and programmes following Practical Action's project cycle management and ensuring organisational compliance. S/he will also play a vital role in project management and strengthening project database. The candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in development or Social Science or any disciplines with at least five years of work experience in related field.
