Practical Action is implementing a need based knowledge services - Practical Answers aiming to provide knowledge on small-scale technologies and allow people to access the wealth of technical information (for more information visit www.practicalanswers.org). Practical Action seeks to recruit Programme Officer - Practical Answers to be based in Kathmandu office with extensive field visits.
Reporting to the Head of Programme Funding and Communications, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and monitoring Practical Answers programme in Nepal; expanding the knowledge services in the South Asia particularly in India, developing project(s) and building capacity of staff.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred) preferably in Development Communications or Knowledge Management and have at least five years' experience in knowledge management, strategic communications and project management.
