Women’s Rehabilitation Center (WOREC) Nepal, a national non-government organization has been working on women rights and social justice since its inception in 1991. WOREC leads the Violence Against Women (VAW) and the Economic. Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR) campaigns. The VAW campaign further comprises of Women Human Rights Defenders' (WHRD), Anti Human Trafficking and Women Empowerment campaigns. Right to Food and Livelihoods. Right to Health and Right to Safe Migration fall under the Economic. Social and Cultural Rights campaign. WOREC Nepal is seeking candidates for the following positions:
Program Officer
REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCE

• Bachelors degree in agriculture/natural resource management

• At least two years field based experience

• Experience in research is advantage

REQUIRED SOCIAL COMPETENCE

• Good networking, communication and negotiation skills.

• Understanding of and commitment to address the issues of sustainable agriculture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direct supervision, of program coordinator, the program officer supports to delivery and coordination of Livelihood program. The major responsibilities includes

• Provide program advice and technical backstopping support to the Livelihood program field staffs

• Support annual program planning and field based monitoring of the implemented activities

• Ensure results are delivered at field level through monitoring and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare & submit the report on quarterly basis to program coordinator

• Facilitate the training to the field staffs.

• Frequent field visit
