The USAID | DELIVER PROJECT, managed by John Snow, Inc. (JSI) announces opportunity for interested and qualified individuals for a three months internship program. Applications are invited from candidates having interest and are seeking opportunities to learn supply chain management aspects of public health.
Desired Qualification and experience
The Project seeks self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated candidates preferably; the ideal candidates in the early stages of their career developments in public health.
• Interns should be young graduate or undergoing graduation with degree in public health or subject related to health care services management or related management fields.
• In the case of disadvantaged young people from remote areas or minority groups, non-graduates may also be considered.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team and take initiatives.
• Good understanding and an appreciation of the role of interns with a high degree of personal commitment and integrity.
• S/he shall demonstrate good analytical, communication and computer skills.
• Willing to travel to remote areas.
• English proficiency required
Duty station: USAID | DELIVER PROJECT, Kathmandu
Number of Internship offered: 2 Duration: Two Interns: March-May, 2013 A standard stipend ofRs. 15,000 per month in Kathmandu will be paid during the period.
