United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) Programme Analyst
(Fixed Term Appointment at NO-B level based in Kathmandu, Nepal)
UNCDF has been supporting the Government of Nepal (GoN) since 2000 in the areas of fiscal decentralization in partnership with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) and development partners. It works in the area of public and private sector to strengthen public investment at the local level and to ensuring financial services reach poor people and small businesses. UNCDF provides seed capital grants and technical support to help microfinance institutions reach more poor households and small businesses, and local governments that will improve poor peoples' lives.
UNCDF is looking for a Nepalese citizen to be appointed as an Programme Analyst at NO-B level. Detailed job description of the post, required qualifications and skills can be found at <http://www.undp.org.np/vacancy>
Work experience and/or academic knowledge in relation to gender and social inclusion will be an added advantage. We especially encourage qualified female candidates from disadvantaged and socially excluded groups.
