VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT-Rural Microfinance Development Centre Ltd

Rural Microfinance Development Centre Ltd. (RMDC), a wholesale lending organization of microfinance in Nepal, invites applications from suitable and qualified candidates for the following position. Applicants are requested to send their application by May 13, 2013 (B.S. 2070 Baisakh 30) to the address mentioned below. Salary and benefits for the under mentioned position will be as per the RMDC rules.
Position Title : Officer
Required Number: Few Age : 18-40 years

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify potential MFIs for RMDC partnership

• Institutional assessment & loan appraisal of RMDC's partner MFIs

• Maintain accounting and book keeping

• Supervise and monitor RMDC's partner MFIs

• Work for strengthening the capacities of RMDC's partner MFIs

• Readiness for frequent field visits

• Perform other assigned duties.

Required qualification and experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Humanities or Management or Agricultural Economics or Rural Development or Sociology

• Should have minimum two years working experiences in banks and the financial institutions

• Should have computer application (MS Office) training

• Should have excellent command in Nepali and English (both writing & speaking)

• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Interested and qualified candidates are requested to submit their hand written application along with CV, two copies of recent PP size photograph, two references (with address and telephone numbers), copies of educational certificates and citizenship, training and experience certificates. The copies of certificates should be attested by an officer level staff of the Government of Nepal or Bank or Financial Institutions in Nepal. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for written examination and the candidates who shall pass the written examination only will be contacted for practical examination and interview. Candidates are required to mention the "Position Name” on the envelope. RMDC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason whatsoever.
