AAIN seeks competent, committed and result-oriented FEMALE candidates for the following position
Human Resources, Organisational Development and Governance Manager
The Human Resources, Organisational Development and Governance Manager ensures the implementation of human resources policies, procedures and systems for ActionAid International Nepal; and ensures adherence to good HR and OD practices of AAI Global HROD Framework and Standards, and compliance with all local labour laws and other statutory requirements in Nepal.
Key responsibilities:
> Enable and ensure that effective HR/OD strategy, policy and systems are in place that supports overall organisational strategy and direction
> Conduct HR/OD Policy and systems review, audits, updates and monitoring in line with organisational objectives and wider global HR/OD framework
> Develop and deliver plans and processes for staff recruitment, including induction and orientation
> Identify training needs and development opportunities for all staff in coordination with the Senior Managers and develop annual training plan
> Lead the affiliation process and coordination of National Board of Governance
Key competencies required:
S Master's degree in Management with specialization in Human Resource Management, Organisation Development; or any other relevant field S A minimum of five years of experience in similar position
S Experience in implementing and monitoring the compliance of HR system, policies and procedures. Experience in developing HR systems, policies and procedures is an advantage S Knowledge about labor regulations of the government of Nepal S Ability to demonstrate good judgement and maintain confidentiality and discretion S Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills S Excellent language skills in English and Nepali including the ability to compose, edit, analyze and report using complex information
This is a Senior Manager position based in Kathmandu, with national and international travel as required.
