CHIEF OF ADMINISTRATION
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and implementing system and processes for Administration and Legal Department.
• Formulate and enforce administrative and legal plan and policies to enhance and upgrade the company performance.
• Operate, maintain, set up and safeguard the administrative procedures and assets.
• Manage and monitor administrative activities and its expenses.
• Develop, update and maintain Administration Manual.
• Function as government liaison in all administrative matters.
• Review from time to time and implement health, safety and security management policies and procedures.
• Manage insurance policies and claims.
• Handle Industrial Relations.
• Coordinate with Company’s Legal Advisor on various legal issues.
• Analyze government policies, act and regulations with reference to Excise Act, “Madira” Act, Labor Act, Industrial Enterprises Act and other related laws, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Report implications that may arise as an outcome of changes in government laws and regulations.
• Prepare periodic Administrative Report and report to Chief Executive Officer. Qualification:
Master’s degree in any field with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in any field with minimum of 15 years of relevant experience. Competencies Required:
• Excellent in written and spoken English and Nepali.
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and decision making skills.
• Ability to plan independently.
• Must be highly organized.
• Able to handle crisis proficiently and work under pressure.
• Should have in depth knowledge of Company Act, Labor Act and other laws of Nepal related to the manufacturing industry.
• Should have experience in handling industrial relations.
• Sound knowledge on MS-Office, E-mail and Internet.
