KIRDARC Nepal is an NGO dedicated to Human Rights, Peace Building, Media and Development in Karnali Zone since 1999 and working with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization.
It has been implementing Community Support Program (CSPII) in Karnali zone (Jumla, Humla, Mugu, Kalikot, Dolpa) with technical support of CARE Nepal and financial support by UKaid from the Department for International Development. KIRDARC Nepal seeks committed, competent and result oriented Nepali citizens for the following position:
1. Position: Project Coordinator -1 (Based in Surkhet with frequent field visit)
Major Responsibilities: Overall responsible for project management (ensuring quality of inputs, processes and results) by providing support to district team in planning, implementing, monitoring and documentation of project in close coordination with government organizations, funding partner and other line agencies.
Qualification and Key Competencies: Master degree in sociology or related development field (Civil Engineering background preferred) having at least 5 years of professional experience in project management with commitment for extensive travel in remote area. Knowledge in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Rural Community Infrastructures in mountain region will be preferred.
