FHI 360, an international PVO, is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Nepali citizen for the following position and to join its team working on the HIV/FP Project:

Technical Advisor-1 position (Kathmandu-based)

Technical Advisor will be responsible for advising Technical Unit (TU) and supporting its activities, for introduction and maintenance of cutting edge technical leadership in designing, developing, implementing and providing technical assistance to country program. Capacity building, ensuring quality of services and regular monitoring and supervision of implementing partners, liaison and strengthening partnership with government counterparts and other development partners and technical backstopping of Technical Unit colleagues are critical functions of the position.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be a Medical Doctor (MD with Public health degree will be an asset) and hove at least seven years of technical and management experience in the health sector in Nepal; HIV and AIDS along with Family Planning experience will be on asset. Should have strong current technical knowledge of HIV clinical services and have proven track record in designing and conducting HIV related training  Ability to interact with technical experts at the national and international level, ability to work independently, multi-task with minimal supervision and working in teams is required.
