Global IME Bank Ltd is a fast growing commercial bank, successfully established as a strong retail bank and remittance service provider through its expanded branch network and remittance sources abroad. Currently, it has 63 branches, including 25 offices within the valley. The branch network reaches from far-east to far-west and many in remote areas as well. Few more branches are coming up in near future. These branches are categorized and managed by various level managers.

The bank is seeking qualified candidates up to 35 years of age to fill in its growing need of branch managers as follows:

Vacancy for Branch Managers, for inside and outside valley branches
Available level: Junior Officer and above, depending on previous exposures to deserving candidates.

The candidates we are looking for should be able to:

• Establish the assigned branch into a local market leader by maintaining Global IME standard services and relationships.

• Show capability to analyze the local economy and grasp available business opportunities for selling banking products, both deposit and lending as well as expand non-funded business.

• Maintain and manage and monitor business & operational risks of the branch.

• Lead the branch workforce towards attainment of business goal.

• Execute corporate guidance/policies.

Desired Qualification and experience:

• For Junior Officer Level:

- Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferably in Management) with two years of experience or Masters degree in any discipline (preferably in Management) from institute recognized by Government of Nepal.

- Must have at least 1 year exposure in branch Operations.

• Officer Level and Above

- Masters degree in business, economics etc. from institute recognized by Government of Nepal.

- Must have at least 2 years of experience as Branch Manager.

Other Requirement for all the levels:

• Extrovert, positive and forward looking.

• Conversant with relevant laws, regulations and practices.
