Job Title: Title: Trainee Journalist / Sub Editor - Desk (4)
Job Description:

- Work under the supervision of the departmental head in editing copies for grammar, facts and logic

- Assist in providing headlines and captions to the news stories and articles

- Undertake assigned tasks of layout of stories on the pages

Qualification:

- Graduate from a reputed university with a degree in English or Mass Communication

- Prior 2 years of work experience in similar field is desirable, however fresh graduates with exceptionally good command over English may also apply

Requirement/ Skills:

■ Self motivated and having a positive learning attitude

- Should have good command over English

- Willing to work under flexible working hours

- Cope with deadlines and work pressure

- Should have zeal to build career in journalism

- Knowledge of QuarkXPress and Page making will be considered an advantage
