Mercy Corps is seeking a Program Manager to lead the implementation for a DFID-Funded program focused on marginalized girls in the Far Western Region of Nepal.
The Program Manager will provide overall leadership, management and strategic vision to the implementation of the program, managing staff, overseeing involved and detailed monitoring and evaluation, supervising international and national partners and resources to ensure that the program meets performance-based targets on-time, within budget per DFID requirements and represents strong Value for Money (VfM). The Program Manager will supervise key program staff.
• Preferred Qualification & Experiences - MA/S or equivalent in education, management, social sciences, international development or other relevant field, 7-10 years experience in education related programming, at least 5 years experience in working at a senior management level. Experiences working with diverse donor groups and private sector preferred. The position is based in Kathmandu with frequent visits to the field.
