The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Nepal invites application from qualified and competent Nepalese citizens for the position of Regional Program Coordinator (Grade 12) for central region program based in Kathmandu. This is a senior level position responsible for strategic leadership; results-based programming, capacity strengthening of community based civil society organizations and resources management in selected districts of the central development region. S/he should provide professional inputs to staff and partner organizations in the areas of Emergency and Disaster Risk Management, Sustainable Livelihoods and Peace/Human Rights.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in social science, law, development studies or related subject with at least 10 years of working experience in a senior level position.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strategic thinking, results-based project cycle management, project proposals development, policy analysis and advocacy. Sound understanding on human rights-based approach to development and good governance. Financial and human resource management knowledge and skills would be desirable. Excellent command in analytical writing and speaking in English and Nepali languages.
