Western Uplands Poverty Alleviation Project (WUPAP), an IFAD loan Project has been in implementation since 2003 in selected hill and mountain districts of mid and far-western regions. The primary objective
disadvantaged groups through a rights based approach. WUPAP, under its Technical Assistance Program, invites applications from eligible Nepalese candidates for the following position.
Post:- Financial Analyst (ONE)
Key responsibility:- Overall Financial Management of Project Coordination Unit and Districts Duty station:- Project Coordination Unit (PCU) Nepalgunj with frequent visit to project districts.
Qualification and Experiences: (1) Masters degree or higher in Financc, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. (2) Good spoken and written skill in both English and Nepali and posses good skills in report writing. (3) At least three years of experience working with financial/contract management positions including one year expcricncc with development project; experience in managing financial/contract aspccts within development project management teams (preferably involving both government and multilateral financing, INGO and Commercial Banks). (4) Experience of working in IFAD accounting and government accounting system. (5) Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of institutions. (6) Strong command over MS office package, email, internet. (7) Ability to work in Accounting Software such as TALLY, Account Customized Software.
PostManagement Information System (MIS) Officer (ONE)
Key responsibility:- Handel overall Information and Knowledge Management Task of Project Duty Station :- Project Coordination Unit, Banke with field visit
Qualification and Experiences: (1) Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (BIM/BSCIT/BCA/BEIT). (2) At least 1 year working experience in MIS. (3) Proven experience on working in Database. (4) Strong command over MS office package, Access, SPSS, email, internet. (5) Excellent knowledge in English and Nepali language.
Duration:- Till 15th July 2013 (Annually renewal of contact upon satisfactory performance)
