1. Head of Department- Human Resources:

Job Code-AM/HR: 2013

The Head of Department- HR will be responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitments, HR policies, and regulatory compliances.

Qualification: Master Degree/Post Graduate/Graduate with PG diploma in Personnel Management. Preference may be given to candidates having specialization in HR Management with relevant work experience.

Position: Assistant Manager

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years or above of working experience in the field of HR preferably in Banks. Eligibility criteria may be relaxed by the Bank depending upon the suitability and merit of the candidate.

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 11th April, 2013 (29th Chaitra, 2069)

Salary & Emoluments (Subject to change from time to time as applicable):

Basic Salary per month: Rs.30,000.00 - Rs.43,600.00 and Total Allowances per month: Rs.20,000.00 - Rs.25,900.00 as per Bank's norms.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for:

i. Effective implementation of the Human Resources Management policies in the Bank and providing feedback to the Management on critical issues.

ii. Implementing HR driven strategies for building a vibrant, collaborative and achievement oriented work culture in the Bank.

Functions:

- To assess/project human resource need and planning. Assist in recruitment and promotion activities.

- To provide inputs for job enrichment, work redesigning and make diagnosis of the motivational climate in various branches / offices of Bank and continuous monitoring of the general morale and organizational health of the Bank.

- To monitor and implement Human Resources Management policies in the Bank and strengthen systems.

- To assess training needs of the employees and arrange for adequate training to meet the identified training needs.

- To co ordinate good performance evaluation management processes in the Bank.

- Possesses good knowledge of local laws of the land and ensure compliance related to Bonus Act, Labour Laws and other acts relating to staff.

- To promote harmonious Industrial Relations climate through interactive processes and mutual understanding.

- To monitor implementation of reward and recognition system in the Bank.

- To review staff service rules and matters connected thereto.

- Handling other matters related to:

The monthly payroll of the Bank and make TDS deductions as per the rules.

To co-ordinate and build good rapport with Regional Managers/ Branch Managers/ln-charges and employees.

The selected candidate will have to execute 3 years bond (amount equivalent to a sum of "5 Months" total emoluments at the rate of emoluments last drawn or Rs. 200,000.00, whichever is less) in favour of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. inter alia confirming continuing of at least 3 years in the Bank's service.

Other Information:

a) Selection procedure will be through an interview.

b) Upon confirmation (after completing 1 year's probation period) other "Staff Loan" facilities will be available (eg. Overdraft, Consumer, Social Loans etc) along with other Insurance benefits like Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Group personal Accident Insurance etc. and Vehicle Scheme as per Bank's policy/Staff Service Bye Laws.

c) Other leave facility like Casual leave, Annual leave and Sick leave of 12, 15 and 7 days respectively will be provided each year.

d) The Bank also has a provision of providing Annual Vacation leave (AVL) commonly referred as forced leave of 15 days after completion of 2 years of total service.

e) Besides above all other facilities and benefits will be made applicable as per the Staff Service Bye-Laws of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd.
