Transparency International Nepal (TIN) is undertaking a National Integrity Context and System Analysis (NICSA) in Nepal. NICSA is a research and advocacy based program designed to examine and strengthen integrity among pillars in the national governance structure. TIN invites application from interested Nepali citizen for the following post:
Post: Program Coordinator -1 (Service contract of 1 year 6 months, maximum. All inclusive pay of NRs. 360,000 per annum)
Primary tasks:
• Reporting to the ED. coordinate with the researcher to implement NICSA research plan;
• Plan, coordinate and convene FGDs. workshops and interactions for NICSA;
• Provide feedback on NICSA report and facilitate external feedback;
• Translate NICSA report or parts thereof in Nepali and vice-versa;
• Manage designing and publication of the NICSA report;
• Design a plan to promote and disseminate NICSA findings;
• Advocate with concerned authorities to implement NICSA recommendation; and
• Report progress regularly.
Eligibility:
• Masters Degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience;
• Knowledge of Nepali socio-political context, functioning of state organs and governance;
• Academic knowledge or work experience in research;
• Excellent report writing skills both in Nepali and English languages;
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Package; and
• Experience in dealing with government agencies.
