VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT-RRN

RRN is a leading Nepali non-governmental organization working in the areas of rural development, human rights and social justice, having strategic focus on protecting and promoting economic, social and cultural right, right to development and peace building from below. Currently, RRN is implementing a project to support the Primary Education, Health and Nutrition with the financial assistance of Deutsche Welthungerhilfe, Germany in selected VDCs of Ramechhap, Morang and Chitwan districts of Nepal. The project will contribute to improve health and nourishment of children and mothers with different community-led interventions.

RRN is looking for qualified, experienced, committed and result oriented candidates for the following positions - Advocacy Officer (Education and Nutrition): 1, Field Officers: 3 (based in Ramechhap, Morang and Chitwan districts), social Mobilizers: 6 (based in districts) and Accountants: 2 (based in districts).

PURPOSE OF THE POST:

Advocacy Officer (Education and Nutrition) is responsible for providing technical inputs on nutrition/food and the right to education and food. Field Officers are responsible for coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities.

Social Mobilizers are expected to mobilize target group; organize and implement activities at village/district level.

Accountants are responsible for accounting and record keeping. Qualifications and Experiences required

Advocacy Officers (Education, Nutrition): Advance University Degree in Education, Public Health, Social Science and other relevant field of study with at least three years of working experience in the related field. Candidate should have strong command of speaking and writing English and Nepali language. Field Officers: Bachelors' degree in social science, development studies, education or related field of study with at least three years of working experience in project management at district/field level. Candidate should have strong command of speaking and writing English and Nepali language. Social Mobilizers: At least Intermediate/Higher Secondary Education with at least two years of working experience in community group mobilization and facilitation related to health and nutrition activities.

Accountants: BBA/BBS with at least one year experience in related field.

Salaries and other benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations of RRN.
