Plan Nepal is seeking to recruit competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic female candidate for the below mentioned position:
1) Advocacy Coordinator-1 position based at Nepal Country Office. This is a grants project based position till December 2015. subject to extension on availability of grants. This position reports to Program Support Manager and requires frequent visit to Program Units as and when required.
Specific responsibilities;
• Design and implement advocacy programs in specific issues such as Learn without Fear, Universal Birth Registration, Because I Am A Girl and any other advocacy in consultation with the concerned.
• Ensure the integration of advocacy objectives, strategies, tactics and monitoring mechanism in program design
• Develop the capacity of Plans staff and partnersincludinqcommunity organizations in the area of participatory advocacy within a rights-based approach and support technical coordinators on the same.
Required qualifications & experiences:
• Master’s degree in Human Rights, Journalism, Communication Studies, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years experience in lobby and advocacy preferably on child rights issues.
• Strategic and analytical, negotiating and networking skills.
• Report writing & computer application skills.
