UN-Habitat is implementing a UN Peace Fund supported project Catalytic Support on Land Issues to contribute in reducing land related conflict in the country in association with UNDP and IOM. In this joint initiative UN-Habitat will lead the outcomes that support the government at central and local levels to prepare land use plans in the prioritized areas of the selected three districts, supporting to prepare land related database and enable land use planning within the established policy framework that will help to achieve in supporting the GoN to consolidate lessons learnt from land reform initiatives in the past and by developing tools as well as methodologies for the preparation of gender-disaggregated land data. These tools and methodologies will be tested and adapted accordingly in collaboration with Ministry of Land Reform and Management. In this context the project is seeking for professional and competent candidates to fill the following posts.

Vacancy for Four Posts:

Project Coordinator

- one position Grade: SB4/II level Contract Type: Service Contract Duty Station: Kathmandu, with frequent visit to site districts Duration: One year with possibility of extension Starting Date: As soon as possible

Technical Officer

- one position Grade: SB4/I level Contract Type: Service Contract Duty Station: Kathmandu, with frequent visit to site districts Duration: One year with possibility of extension Starting Date: As soon as possible

Project Assistant

-one position Grade: SB2/II level Contract Type: Service Contract Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nepal Duration: One year with possibility of extension Starting Date: As soon as possible

Driver

-one position Grade: SB2/I level Contract Type: Service Contract Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nepal Duration: One year with possibility of extension Starting Date: As soon as possible
