Position: Full time position.
A Nepali with International Hotel Management Experience is given preference Remuneration: Competitive focal salary + benefits, based on qualifications and experience Specific responsibilities include:
• Lead in all key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment), ensuring that decisions made arc in the best interest of the Guest house
• To implement the product & marketing strategies as per the guidelines
• Constantly maintain & improve the condition of the Guest House & grounds
• To deliver meaningful achievable Guest House budgets and set other short and long term strategic goals
• To provide effective leadership to the Guest House staff to ensure targets are met and exceeded
• To lead in all aspects of business planning to meet and exceed guest expectations
• To comply and exceed Service Standards
• Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the business and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered
• Provide Monthly Accounts and Quarterly Reports to Head Quarters
As Manager we would have expected you to have:
• International Hotel management experience
• At least 3+ years Hotel Management experience
• Have a degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
• Have been a Manager within a 3+ star hotel
• Possess strong commercial acumen, with experience of increasing profitability in a tight market sector
• Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results in a similar sized property
• Excellent leadership skills and exceptional communication skills
• An in-depth knowledge of the hotel / leisure / service sector
• Excellent command of English
• Capable of managing multiple projects to time and within budget
