World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position:
Position: Area Technical Coordinator - Livelihood (One)
Job Location: Based in Sunsari Area Development Programme (ADP) and covering Morang and Udayapur ADPs
Work Purpose: To provide technical support to livelihood in alignment with WVIN’s livelihood strategy in ADPs.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Master’s) in Agriculture or related field with at least 2 years work experience in livelihoods sectors
• Good knowledge of community based livelihoods projects
• Knowledge of organic farming and co-operative capacity building
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, strategic thinking
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Strong team player; must be able to form and lead a number of cross functional working groups
• Excellent communication skills, both English and Nepali
• Committed to World Vision ethos, vision, mission and core values
