Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Butwal Power Company (BPC) is a leading hydro power company of Nepal. BPC has generation, transmission and distribution in four districts over the country. It also has major investments in various hydropower related companies like engineering consultancy, electro/hydro mechanical fabrication and promoting in major new hydropower companies.

Role of CEO

• Lead in formulating Company Strategy and Operational policies for new and existing investments to maximize returns and future growth.

• Implement company wide functional and departmental systems.

• Institute good corporate governance and enhance corporate culture and professional working style in the company.

• Ensure good industrial relation and conducive work environment.

• Maintain good liaison with different government agencies, INGOs, Banks and Financial Institutions.

• Focus on key areas which yield improvements in productivity and profitability.

• Lead and manage hydro projects independently.

• Effective succession planning.

• Establish world class quality and safety practices.

• Long term process driven approach.

Qualification:
• BE/ME + MBA (Preferable) with more than 15 yrs of experience.

• At least 5 years in a leadership role, excellent understanding of & strong background in P&L management.

• Excellent leadership & communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of project financing and experience in local and multilateral financing.

Salary will be based on experience and educational qualification of the candidate.
