Career Opportunities with British Council Nepal

We are looking for a dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our Nepal Operation as Business Development Manager.

The post is responsible for:

■ the coordination of full-cost recovery business development activities

■ the coordination of partnership funding for our donor-funded business activities

The main priorities of the post are:

■ understanding donor pipelines for projects and programmes, and work to be tendered to national / international organisations

■ ensuring client requirements are known and understood, and that their requirements are met / exceeded in proposals

■ managing relationships with clients, customers, consultants and specific project stakeholders at the operational level

■ supporting the coordination of the delivery of projects to time, quality and cost targets across the functions Essential qualifications and experience required:

■ First degree and at least 5 years experience of working on large technical assistance projects

■ Experience of the Project Management cycle

■ Experience of the Education and Skills sector

Remuneration scale: NPR 63,000 to 99,000/month:
