Population Services International (PSD is a global non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of people in the developing world by focusing on serious challenges like a lack of family planning, HIV/AIDS, barriers to maternal health, and the greatest threats to children under five, including malaria, diarrhea, pneumonia and malnutrition. PSI/Nepal began operations in early 2002 to work in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, child survival and family planning in support of Government of Nepal's National Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Prevention Strategies. Its current portfolio includes malaria, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, family planning and safe water projects.

PSI/Nepal is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Operations Manager.

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the operations of the organisation including Administration, Information Technology (IT), Procurement & Supply Chain and Grants & Contracts.

Qualification:

• Masters in Business Administration or a related degree

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Operations (Procurement, Administration, IT and Grants and Contract Management) with 3 years experience at management level

• Experience with management of large multilateral and/or bilateral donor funds like Global Fund, European Union, World Bank, USAID, DFID, Asian Development Bank.

• Proven record of excellent leadership, decision making, people management and analytical skills

• Experience of working in development sector

• Ability to effectively communicate financial information and write reports and procedure manuals

• Passionate about operational efficiencies

• Effective spoken and written communication skills in both English and Nepali
