Project Officer - Nepal Based in Kathmandu
Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent and reduce violent conflict and promote cooperative approaches to security. We work with civil society, governments and international organisations to encourage and support effective policies and practices through advocacy, research and policy development, and through supporting the actions of others.
The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of Saferworld's activities and strategies in Nepal to promote peace, safety and sustainable development. S/he will have at least 3 years' experience in a relevant field and a good overview of peace and security issues in Nepal, as well as being fluent in both Nepali and English. A Master's degree in international relations or a relevant discipline is also required.
