Population Services International (PSI) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of people in the developing world by focusing on serious challenges like a lack of family planning, HIV/AIDS, Darners to maternal health, and the greatest threats to children under five, including malaria, diarrhea, pneumonia and malnutrition. PSI/Nepal began operations in early 2002 to work in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, child survival and family planning in support of Government of Nepal's National Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Prevention Strategies. Its current portfolio includes malaria, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, family planning and safe water projects.
PSI/Nepal is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Research/Monitoring A Evaluation (MAE) Officer.
The Research/MAE Officer will be responsible for supporting MAE and research activities of GFATM Malaria program including but not limited to development of research dosign; study implementation and analysis; supervision/monitoring of malaria program and implementing partners; periodic review of MAE SOP and programmatic data review and verification.
Qualification:
■ Bachelors degree in Public Health, Social Science or a related degree
■ Minimum 3 years experience m monitoring and evaluation of public health programs
■ Good knowledge and experience of applying MAE tools in program management
■ Knowledge of statistical software package like SPSS
■ Demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate research findings
■ Effective spoken and written communication skills in both English and Nepali
