Chemonics International Inc., an international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks experienced enumerators to conduct a survey of farmers supported under the USAID-funded Nepal Economic, Agriculture and Trade (NEAT) Activity. NEAT is designed to address a wide range of private sector development issues and work in both agricultural and non-agricultural economic sectors.
NEAT is seeking up to 8 Short-Term Enumerators who will be deployed to the Kavre district to interview farmers to collect vegetable sales data. The enumerators will work with a counterpart to identify the local of project farmers.The selected candidates should expert to have to walk long distances to reach each farmer household.This is a two week assignment that is expected to begin April 1,2013 and conclude April 12,2013.
Competitive candidates will meet most or all of the following criteria:
• At least 10 + 2 passed with practical experience in socio economic survey in rural areas.
• Past experience as an enumerator preferred
• General knowledge of agriculture preferred.
